Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Shademont (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Shademont CRM website, product, and related services (the “Service”), including integrations with third-party social platforms such as Meta (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp), TikTok, and Snapchat.

1. Who this applies to

  • Visitors to our public marketing site (for example demo requests).
  • Customer organizations (tenants) that subscribe to a private CRM workspace.
  • End users who interact with a tenant’s connected social channels (messages, forms, comments), whose data is processed on behalf of that tenant.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Service, we may process:

  • Account and business data — names, emails, company details, login credentials (hashed), billing and subscription status.
  • CRM data — leads, contacts, activities, quotes, notes, and related business records entered by tenant users.
  • Social / messaging data — messages, comments, posts, lead-form submissions, and profile identifiers received from connected platforms after a tenant authorizes access.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, cookies/session identifiers, and diagnostic logs needed to run and secure the Service.
  • Demo / contact form data — name, email, company, and message when you book a demo.

3. How we use information

  • Provide, operate, and improve the CRM and social connectors.
  • Authenticate users, enforce tenant isolation, and manage subscriptions and payments.
  • Ingest and display social conversations, posts, and lead forms that a tenant has connected.
  • Respond to demo requests and support inquiries.
  • Maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Social platform connections

When a tenant connects Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, or similar services, we receive access tokens and data those platforms make available under the permissions the tenant grants. We use that data only to provide the features the tenant enabled (for example inbox, lead capture, insights). Tenants are responsible for having a lawful basis to process their customers’ and followers’ data through those channels.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers that help us host, email, bill, or operate the Service (for example payment processors), under appropriate agreements.
  • Social platforms as required to complete OAuth, webhooks, messaging, or advertising APIs that the tenant connects.
  • Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

Each tenant’s CRM data is isolated from other tenants. Platform operators (Super Admins) may access tenant metadata needed for onboarding, billing, and support.

6. Cookies and sessions

We use essential cookies and similar technologies for authentication, security, and preferences (for example session cookies). The public landing site may store flash messages for form feedback.

7. Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, meet contractual and legal requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Tenants may delete or request deletion of CRM records according to their plan and applicable law. Demo requests may be retained for follow-up and internal records.

8. Security

We implement administrative and technical measures designed to protect information, including access controls and encrypted transport (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data, or to object to certain processing. End users of a tenant’s business should contact that tenant first. Platform-level requests can be sent to the contact below.

10. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 16 (or the age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. International transfers

We may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

12. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
